CoolSculpting Chicago

We continue our education series on CoolSculpting this week discussing some of the perceived side effects of CoolSculpting. You may have heard slogans like ‘Say Goodbye to Stubborn Fat’ or ‘The easy way to lose inches – no needles, no surgery’. We believe CoolSculpting is a safe, non-invasive way to lose some stubborn fat and it is important to evaluate all the factors in a decision about a potential fat reduction treatment. We also encourage you to learn more about Liposuction as a fat reduction treatment. Please also visit CoolSculpting-Chicago for additional information on the CoolSculpting procedure. We encourage you to take advantage of our expertise in the CoolSculpting procedure by setting up an appointment.

Question:

What are some of the common side effects of CoolSculpting?

Answer:

When CoolSculpting is properly performed by a trained and experienced provider and by applying the applicator to a stubborn area of fat, like your ‘muffin top’ or ‘love handles’, the process freezes that fat and reduces that diet and exercise resistant fat. CoolSculpting is a safe procedure with few adverse temporary effects. The most commonly experienced short term side effects are numbness and tingling in the treated area; mild burning and redness can also occur. These side effects are usually short-lived.
