VI Peel

The VI peel is a light to moderate peel that utilizes a blend of TCA, Salicylic Acid, Phenol, Retinoic acid, Vitamins, and micro elements to help rejuvenate your skin. The VI peel is an effective way to eliminate hyper pigmentation, reduce fine lines, shrink pores, and give your skin a youthful glow. It can be used for large areas such as the face, neck, chest, and hands or can be used to spot treat specific brown spots. To maintain your results, you will need to wear sunscreen with a SPF of 35 or higher and use an Obagi product that controls pigmentation. There is no pain with this peel and there is minimal downtime. Most people start flaking 3 days after the application and can continue flaking for 2-3 days. This stage is easily tolerated and can be camouflaged with moisturizer and makeup. We are offering a special introductory offer of $300 per area (face/neck, chest, or hands) with an additional $70 for Precision spot treating up to 10 brown spots (regularly $100). Blue Peel by Obagi

The Obagi Blue Peel is an aggressive chemical peel that utilizes TCA (trichloroacetic acid) which first exfoliates then typically stimulates, firms, and tightens the skin. The Blue base in this peel helps determine the depth of the peel which helps produce consistent results and reduces the risk of post peel complications. If you are on the Obagi system which utilizes Retin A and pigment controlling agents, the Blue Peel is effective for treating acne scarring, fine lines, large pores, and uneven pigment. The Blue Peel speeds up your skin’s natural exfoliating process. Since you will be required to start the Obagi skin care regimen the blue peel enables your new, healthier cells to come to the surface more quickly. The result is a healthier, more youthful appearing skin with a more even skin tone and texture. Before getting the Blue Peel, it is necessary to be on the Obagi Nuderm skin care line for 6-12 weeks to ensure optimal results. The Blue peel is a quick 20-30 minute procedure that is performed in the office. There is a temporary burning sensation which lasts for 3-4 minutes while receiving the Blue Peel which is lessened by using a hand held fan during the procedure. The Blue Peel can be performed anywhere on the body and normally requires 7-10 days of down time while your skin peels.
