Precision Tx Neck Contouring™ injects laser energy directly through three tiny incision. Thermal energy stimulates new collagen production in the dermis which promotes improved skin elasticity, thickness and texture. This allows tightening of the treated area, which leads to a more contoured look. If you have any small pockets of fat the laser energy will heat them and allow for Dr. Casas to gently extract the liquefied fat. Together with the tightening effects your neck will look more youthful. Together with pre and post procedure skincare, your new neck will have smoother, more youthful skin.
Prior to the procedure you will be started on skincare products and outside skin laser treatment that will prepare your neck skin for the procedure. With 1540 Fractional Laser and Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar , your skin will begin to tighten for an optimal result. This individualized plan will help prepare your skin to maximally tighten and then help you maintain your results.
On the day of your procedure, you may have a light breakfast before you arrive for your procedure.
After your arrival, you will be orally sedated and the treatment area is numbed. Tiny incisions are made to allow a small laser fiber (the size of a tip of a pen) to gently deliver thermally controlled laser energy to the treatment area. After the fat and the skin are treated with the energy needed to tighten your skin and liquefy any fat deposits a tiny cannula will gently extract any fat that may prevent the skin from contouring around your chin and neck. Dr. Casas and her staff ensure that your comfort and safety are top priorities at all times.
There is minimal discomfort and the procedure takes approximately one hour. After the procedure, patients can go home within 30 minutes. A bandage is placed around your head and neck for 2-3 days. You will be seen in the office several times in the first 6 weeks to ensure your best recovery and result. You can return to normal activities in a few days with restrictions on strenuous exercise for 2 weeks.
