Dr. Casas Quoted in a Surgery.org News Release
Dr. Laurie Casas cautions patients against focusing on scar reduction while failing to appreciate the importance of creating optimal breast shape in a www.surgery.org news release. While vertical breast reductions leave smaller scars, the traditional “inverted-T” pattern may produce better results for certain patients. Dr. Casas also informs readers that breast lifts may reposition and reshape the breast, but they cannot add volume. Breast augmention is necessary to add volume. For optimal results, she says
“Many patients opt for combining a lift with breast augmentation in the same operation.”
