Otoplasty, ear pinning or ear reshaping is a surgical procedure performed to reshape the ear that may be prominent, misshaped, or traumatically deformed.

During the initial consultation you will share your expectations for the changes you desire in the shape, size and projection of your ear in relation to your head. Dr. Casas will then discuss the options you have to achieve your desired result. She will also discuss the risks and alternative treatments.

After surgery your ears will be wrapped in a head dressing to protect them from being traumatized by normal activities like sleeping or putting on clothes. This head wrap will be removed between 5-7 days. The scar is placed in the fold behind your ear, virtually eliminating any visible scar.
