What is a Breast Augmentation with Lift?
A breast augmentation with lift (sometimes referred to as an augmentation mastopexy) is a procedure that combines two distinct techniques: increasing breast volume with implants and repositioning the breast tissue through a lift. While each procedure can be performed on its own, combining them allows Dr. Casas to address both size and shape simultaneously, resulting in a more complete and cohesive outcome.
During the augmentation portion of the procedure, implants are placed to increase volume, particularly in the upper breast, where fullness is often lost. The lift component focuses on removing excess skin, reshaping the underlying tissue, and repositioning the nipple and areola to a more elevated position on the chest.
This dual approach is particularly beneficial for patients whose concerns go beyond size alone. It allows for customization at every level, implant type, size, placement, and lifting technique, so that the final result aligns closely with the patient’s anatomy and aesthetic goals.
