Dr. Laurie Casas is interviewed on CBS2 Chicago regarding her support of the FDA approval of silicone gel breast implants. As a clinical investigator over the last 14 years who spoke at the FDA hearings “for science to prevail,” she says that the decision of saline versus silicone must be made in the consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.
