Laser Non-Ablative Fractional Will Prevent & Refresh (“Prejuvenate”), Revitalize & Maintain
Transform & Renew your skin

WHAT IS MOXI™?

MOXITM is the latest non-ablative fractional 1927 wavelength laser that is safe for all skin types all year-round. MOXITM will renew and revitalize your aging skin and help maintain its rejuvenated appearance.

HOW DOES MOXI™ WORK?

MOXI™ utilizes the most advanced technology that uses concentrated light beams at a 1927 nanometer frequency. In conjunction with a daily skincare regimen, these micro injuries stimulate your skin to regenerate collagen and elastin fibers.

MOXI™ delivers micro pulses of energy to the skin to correct pigmentation and sun damage, uneven skin tones and skin texture, which leads to brightening, tightening, and rejuvenated skin, with minimal to no downtime.
Results can be seen with just one treatment. This procedure is also safe for men with facial hair. If you are looking for a gentle, non-invasive, lunchtime treatment.

MOXI™ is a customizable treatment with three different levels of skin rejuvenation depending on your skin age and your concerns. When used in conjunction with a customized daily skin care regimen, all levels result in rejuvenating your skin leaving it with a glowing, healthier look by stimulating collagen and elastin production.

WHAT DOES “PREJUVENATE” MEAN?
WHAT IS THE BEST AGE TO START MOXI™ TREATMENTS?

MOXI™ treatments can prevent and decrease skin the signs of aging, which can “prejuvenate” your skin. These treatments will improve the first signs of fine lines.

MOXI™ will decrease pore size and improve your skins’ texture and decrease any uneven skin tones. It can be a gentle treatment (Level 1) or if needed more transformative (Level 3). Dr. Casas and her team will will address your concerns and explain the best protocol to use to achieve the very best results. MOXI TM treatments can provide impressive results with little to no downtime.

WHAT DOES EACH LEVEL OF A MOXI™ TREATMENT ACHIEVE?

Level 1 treatment is used to “Prejuvenate” your skin and addresses skin that has the beginning signs of aging with some uneven skin tones and texture. It uses less energy with the goal of preventing the skin changes of aging by stimulating better collagen and elastin production.

Level two is designed to revitalize aging skin collagen and elastin and to rejuvenate and maintain a more youthful skin appearance.

Level three is used to transform aging skin collagen and elastin and renew the aging skin.

AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR MOXI™?

Many people are candidates due to genetics, a history of unprotected sun exposure, and normal skin aging. If you would like to renew, resurface and brighten your skin, MOXITM treatment is perfect for you. It is important to note that if you have had recent prolonged sun exposure and your skin color is darker from that exposure, it is best to wait until you have been out of the direct sun for 1-2 weeks to avoid excessive and prolonged healing time.

AM I A CANDITATE FOR A COMBINATION TREATMENT WITH BOTH MOXITM and Forever Young BBL HERO™?

If you have concerns about brown spots, redness, uneven skin tone and texture a combination of MOXI™ and Forever Young BBL HERO™ will be recommended.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT BEFORE AND AFTER A MOXI™ TREATMENT?

Dr. Casas and the team will discuss your goals during your consultation and provide a personalized treatment plan based on your concerns. This plan will include what Level MOXI™

treatment and how many sessions will be needed to achieve your goals. MOXI™ procedure Levels 1,2,3 have little to no downtime.

A pretreatment and maintenance skin care regimen will be strongly recommended to insure rapid healing and your best long-lasting results.
The day of the procedure, numbing cream may be added for 30-60 before the treatment. The procedure itself is very quick, most completed within 20 minutes.
Following the MOXI™ procedure, your skin may be red, and this redness typically persists for 1-3 days and rarely for up to 7 days. You may also experience moderate warmth and discomfort. This feeling may continue for 20-40 minutes and may persist for up to 24 hours. A cooling mask, a cold compress or icing helps to relieve the minimal to moderate 20-40-minute discomfort. Minimal swelling can persist for up to 7-10 days.
Tiny brown spots called “MENDS” (microscopic epidermal necrotic debris) typically appear 1-3 days after a MOXI™ procedure. These appear as tiny brown dots on the skin. MENDS is part of the healing process to rejuvenate your skin. Within a week, these spots will peel off, leaving you with glowing and brighter, rejuvenated skin.
Makeup may be applied 24 hours after treatment.

DO I NEED TIME OFF OF WORK?

Time off work is not needed. Makeup may be applied as early as 24 hours post procedure. You may resume normal activities after the treatment.
