Juvederm Voluma
Juvéderm™ and Juvederm Ultra Plus are FDA-approved smooth hyaluronic acid fillers that can be used to reduce wrinkles and indentations. Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the human body that acts like a sponge to slightly expand soft tissue, making it appear plump, supple, and youthful.
Juvederm Voluma™ XC is an FDA-approved injectable facial filler that will allow Dr. Casas to instantly correct your cheek volume loss that is a result of normal aging. This unique filler made out of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) can safely be injected into three key areas of your cheek. Voluma has been shown to last up to two years if the optimal number of syringes is used.

Juvéderm Ultra and Ultra Plus™ are manufactured into a gel and Dr. Casas will inject it into areas that you both feel, once filled, will give you your desired result. Dr. Casas will determine whether your wrinkles or folds will be best treated with the Juvederm Ultra or the Juvederm Ultra Plus.
The effects of Juvéderm Ultra and Ultra Plus™ typically last for up to six to twelve months.
The Consultation
During your personalized consultation, Dr. Casas and her team will review all safe options that can be used to correct cheek volume loss. They will then come up with the best treatment plan for your specific needs and desired results.
The Procedure
Dr. Casas will inject Juvéderm™ when you are in the office or as part of another procedure. Dr. Casas makes every attempt to reduce any pain associated with the procedure. To keep you as comfortable as possible, she applies topical agents as well as ice or injected anesthetics to the areas of concern.
After the procedure, patients typically experience minimal discomfort and mild side effects such as bruising, swelling, and/or redness at the injection sites. Patients are able to immediately return to normal activities, and there is no downtime or recovery needed after getting Juvederm injections.
Your results will last up to six months, and most patients benefit from touchup sessions that are progressively spaced farther apart.
