Dr. Laurie A. Casas, board certified Plastic Surgeon and Senior Clinician Educator at the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine has over 20 years of experience in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery on the North Shore of Chicago. Certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties, Dr. Casas is a member and National Spokesperson for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). She is the only female Plastic Surgeon who has served as a past president of the ASAPS Educational and Research Foundation (ASERF) and who has also sat on the Board of Directors of ASAPS, ASERF and ASPS-PSEF. She has developed a didactic and live patient demonstration workshop for the University of Chicago Plastic Surgery residents entitled “Patient evaluation, safe and predictable agent selection and injection techniques” which she teaches. Her advanced training in medical aesthetics, cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body as well as her commitment to patient safety and excellent aesthetic outcomes is demonstrated in her commitment to the education of Aesthetic Surgeons and the advancement of the field of Aesthetic Medicine and Cosmetic Plastic Surgery.
